Nicely appointed restaurant good atmosphere. Service was good. Food was good, not great. Prime Rib was different than what a fine dining restaurant would serve. It was seasoned too heavily and didn't really look like Prime Rib....more like just some kind of steak cut. Dined on a Saturday evening and customers were not plentiful. Caused us to wonder why. My husband and I have become regulars at this establishment for the good food, friendly wait staff, great scenery, and lovely atmosphere. We have eaten many times here and cannot recommend a better place to enjoy a great dining experience nestled in Galax. My husband says this is not typical bar food but rather chef-prepared culinary delights.

Salmon, rice and roasted vegetables - good meal. Chicken cordon bleu - way too much gouda and ham with a small chicken patty.
