boe Restaurant Review

Located within the Crescent Beverly Hills hotel, this restaurant has evolved into a happening nightspot (that also serves breakfast and lunch) for mingling and noshing in a very urbane setting. A moderately priced menu offers dishes ranging from a sesame chicken salad to braised beef short ribs in a mild chile-tomatillo sauce. The wine list is surprisingly substantial and creative for such a...

White hot rooms get warmer by candlelight. Gorgeous garden courtyard hosts growing-older-gracefully beauties, upwardly mobile nubiles (Vuitton purses, not luggage, Dior sunglasses, not dresses) in search of Mr. Big, and 90210 employees who still go out after work. Space oddity global menu throws artfully skewered shrimp and short ribs to China girls and Major Toms in the living room of our...

New American nibbles for the fashionably hip Beverly Hills party set.

Headed to this place for drinks after bailing on 1912 (@ the Beverly Hills Hotel) and it saved the night. Service was impeccable, drinks were good, ambience was just right -- not too loud, but full enough to be lively. Small, cozy, not a gross meet market. Perfect lounge spot.

Pros

+ Service, ambience.

Cons

- None.

Parking

Neighborhood parking is mostly restricted. For easy access, use the valet--it's complimentary at lunch and $5 at night.

Look Good

Casual dress is fine, but you won't feel overdressed in designer duds.

Where to Sit

Make believe it's a hip friend's living room--arrive late and park it on the shag rug for dessert at the coffee table.
