We have eaten in many restaurants of the world & the US. Imagine how surprised we were to find that the Boat House is right up there with many of our favorites. It is well worth a trip from Ohio!!!

I am fortunate in that I am well healed enough to be able to enjoy fine dinning experiences in my travel and I have traveled extensively. On a recent break from work my wife and I took a road trip just to relax and drove back roads the entire trip. I don't know how many of you will have the opportunity to find yourself in Coldwater Michigan but if you do and you do not make it a point to staop in at the Boathouse Restaurant on Coldwater lake you will be missing something special. The restaurant is great. All of the food was very tasty and the view was beautiful. The food was presented very elegantly and the wait staff was friendly and professional. The overall bill was not too pricey for a restaurant on the lake. Highly recommended for a special evening. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. Beautiful evening.
