We come to ely quite often and I love coming to the boathouse. I've never had bad food! Lots of vegetarian options and I prefer to sit on the bar side.

We hadn't visited the Boathouse for quite awhile and decided to eat there last week. The burger I had was very good and the sandwich my wife had was also good. The service was also good.

Food was really just mediocre on this visit. Very few people in the bar, as other locations are offering stiff competition. Better options in Ely now.

Great service, food and beer. My family of 12 went in and they accommodated us immediately. I would suggest the Steak Bites as an appetizer, walleye sandwich & reubens & steak sandwich. The specialty beers were delicious. They have growlers too. The whole family was loving it. You will not be sorry stopping here.
