Blues Alley is the quintessential jazz club. It's dark and brooding and the perfect venue to enjoy old school, straight ahead, and smooth jazz and vocals. The club pays homage to the jazz and supper clubs of the 20s with some of today's jazz performers.

Located in Georgetown, right off of Wisconsin Ave and down a tiny, pedestrian-only-can-fit alley, hides Blues Alley. This jazz and supper club hosts the best jazz has to offer. Blues Alley is tiny, authentic and offers spectacular Cajun Cuisine. Go for the jazz, savor the food, and relish the experience.

I recently went to see Alex Bugnon at Blues Alley and let me just say that it was the perfect venue to see this awesome performer. The intimate seating, great accoustics and tasty evening fare made this a night to remember!

Blues Alley Club has been around since 1965, making it the nation's oldest jazz and supper club. People from all over the DC metropolitan area come to Blues Alley to hear great music. Sometimes the line to get in can loop around the block, so be sure you get your tickets far in advance. Watching a performance at Blues Alley is like taking a journey back in time.
