My husband and I visit Ithaca 1-2 times per year, and if possible, we have dinner at Blue Stone. This small restaurant is tucked away on Aurora Street, just around the corner from the main drag of The Commons. The interior is quite funky, with tons of interesting artwork and mostly small tables ready to be drawn upon with chalk....

This restaurant suffered a fire in December of 2012. Not sure if Doug is planning to reopen, but damage extensive enough that it will be some months before that is possible. Same for Mercato next door!

Decent but inconsistent

Stopped here for dinner while visiting Cornell. Bright and cheery inside with a diverse menu. But the execution lacks a bit. Had a good curry chicken and a bland pork shank dish. Baked Mac and Cheese app was good and chili was good, if a bit too spicy for my taste. If you like spicy its probably very good. Service...

Frankly confused by some of the poor reviews given I eat here with some regularity and have never had a bad meal. I have to say this place has one of the very best burgers in town. Not a drinker so can't say anything about that side of things, but bar seems to be consistently busy with attentive staff. Also...
