The service was wonderful the food was even better and I even left with money in my pocket!!!!! Every time we come anywhere in Elgin we make the side trip to hit this place. The Blue Rose cafe has been around for years under different names, but their reputation stays excellent. The food is superb, offering different specials throughout their "open all week" schedule. The prime rib on Monday evening cannot be beat with their own special seasonings.
