This area of Cincinnati is rather eclectic and the Blue Jay is like stepping back in time! Sit at the counter and you can watch your breakfast being made. The staff is very friendly and the place has a small town atmosphere in a big city. The omelets & biscuits are to die for, but caution, either go VERY hungry...

They continue to serve incredible tasty breakfasts with large portions.
The Breakfast special at the high end is $6.99
Fast service, polite wait staff.
Do not judge the place on the bathroom which was out of date in the 80's.
You really can't go wrong if you are looking good old fashioned cooking.
