What a surprise. Drove over for dinner and there was a big sign in front of the entrance saying: "Coming Soon - Ryan's Corner, Irish Pub". Oh well.

This is a restaurant I wanted to love; vegetarian in the middle of a food maven's city. But while it was very good. I didn't love it. It didn't come close to my veggie meal the. night before in zapotecas. The sauces are mostly Asian influenced and I didn't think they were as good as the ones in a Thai...

Unexpected good Thai cuisine in a coastal town in Maine

Visiting Maine did not bring Thai food to the forefront of my mind. I loved the food served at the Blue Elephant. The flavors, spices and heat of the dished were made to my specifications. A request for additional bean sprouts was met with a smile and delivery.
After dining on lobster, fish and veggies...this was a wonderful addition to...

Quality food but service lacking

The food makes it worth a stop here. A large menu , most of which are spicy dishes. The evening we were there was quiet and only had a few diners but service was still slow. Friendly owner and wonderful food

We stopped by on a whim and were glad we did! We decided to try the small appetizer platter at the bar, along with a couple of Blue Elephant cocktails and oreder our entrees to go. The drinks were delish, my wife declared the crab rangoons the best she ever had, I especially liked the fried shrimp and veggie egg...
