We always go to the Dragon when we are in town if the Big Band sound Oliphonics are playing. Great sound, dancing encouraged. Food delicious.

Initially thought this was a Chinese restaurant but no, it's a really good locally sourced restaurant with very good innovative food and drinks. Excellent live music is a nice touch.

Great musical artists serenade you while you dine in this open-to-the-stars restaurant in Kawaihae. Very friendly and attentive wait staff. Great dancing at the blue dragon

We went three times while visiting the big island. Great dancing, food and service (thank you -j). If you are looking for a place where all the locals go to dance this is the place for you. You need a reservation most days and they are only open Thursday through Sunday. We had a great time!
