Catfish the way it should be. Don't look for flashy signs or a high dollar store front with a lot of neon. It's a locally owned and operated home town eatery. Great non greasy catfish. Blue Bayou is a great place to eat. They use real catfish where other places use other types of fish. The fried and breaded catfish is not greasy. It is light and tender. BEST FISH in the area. This place is GREAT! The best fish in the area. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Love the fish, chicken and frog legs. I eat there at least once a week and have never had a bad meal. I highly recommend this place!

It's Great !!!. Love the Blue Bayou, The only place I eat catfish in Texarkana. The whole catfish are awesome. My kids live in Dallas and everytime they come to see me their first stop is Blue Bayou. In fact Mr Dowd (owner) calls my daughter "ms Dallas". Can't say enough about the food and friendly employees. Try it you will like it. PAM

Go there. Outstanding shrimp po-boy. Knowedgeable and friendly wait-staff. Decore not much to write home about. If you are far west side, stop in Nash for seafood and skip drive into Texarkana.
