I called to ask for some local advice of where to put in and where to take out my own boat. The lady I talked to on the phone was super rude, wouldn't give any information out to me and hung up on me. I used to work for a white water rafting company and often helped private boaters plan their trips even though they weren't paying me. Not impressed!

Great way to spend a few hours

The only thing I will tell you is pack extra water, sun screen, and bug spray. We had a blast, but the horse flies are bad. We did the 11 mile trip and was well worth it.

What a relaxing day on the water! In a little over 4 hours we floated/paddled a canoe 11 miles down the Blackwater River, courtesy of Blackwater Canoe Rental. Pristine wilderness the whole way! Gorgeous white sand beaches on a lot of the bends. Very gentle current, no whitewater whatsoever (we're in Florida, yup)
Saw plenty of turtles, and water snakes,...

We just had our first trip there yesterday on Fathers Day. I'm not sure if they just hired a new girl, but her customer service skills sucked big time and we had a hard time figuring her out when she was trying to tell us something.
