Although this area boasts many excellent Irish pubs, this neighborly spot is a must on any self-respecting pub crawl. There is something for everyone here, be it a comfortable booth or a game of pool or darts on the second floor. The Tuesday Night Trivia Quiz is particularly popular. A fireplace greets all who enter and sets the perfect laid back vibe for an evening of reserved revelry. Irish...

At this Irish pub in the Outer Richmond, folks come for the drink specials but stay for the killer trivia contests.

I love this place. The food is available, the drinks plentiful, and the people watching enjoyable. I love it when the bartenders kick out under-agers on Friday nights. You gotta wait your turn just like the rest of us honey! The only thing I would change about this place is the frequency that the fireplace is lit. It should be on every night in my opinion and it isn't.

5:00pm, bar nearly empty. I order a burger, it takes 29 minutes to arrive? I was about to get up and leave. Not going back, thank you.

Little fire blazing and you might be lucky enough to sit near the hearth. Food... you gotta like deep fried (very likely frozen) food. Calamari …

When to Go: Bitter End is famous for Trivia Tuesdays. This insanely crowded event offers drink and food specials, as well as cash prizes for the winners. There are also awards for best team name and best limerick (some of which would undoubtedly tempt your mother to wash your mouth out with soap).
