We normally love Bird Cafe. However, the table we were sat at on Valentines Day was awful. We made our reservation several days in advance. A couple walked in directly ahead of us and were immediately sat in the dining room. Valentines four course dinner was a disaster. Oysters tasted like they were 2 weeks old, the bisque was broken, the osso buco had too many herbs, and my ice cream was melted by the time the chef made it to the table to make the sauce that covered my bacon brownie. Good food and good service, but it was also a slow evening. Some of the items on the menu are a little exotic so choose with care. Good evening meal.

Bird Cafe comes to Fort Worth's Sundance Square courtesy restaurateur Shannon Wynne and the team behind Meddlesome Moth, Lark on the Park, Rodeo Goat, and the Flying Fish and Flying Saucer chains. Chef David McMillan's dinner menu is basically the same as the menu at Meddlesome Moth where he also works. From staff reports
