Billy Goat

Those "longing for good old grease" hit these "classic" Chicago "hamburger joints" to relive the famous SNL skit over "cheezborgers" and "no fries, chips" served with the "expected rude service"; many gripe they're "tired" and "overhyped", but concede the "underground" original on Lower Michigan Avenue is an "institution" that's "worth the trip."

Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. A walk up to counter and order place. So no service. Food was ok. Owners seemed cranky. Probably the stress of a new stew. Clean and bright.

I go and bring friends to this location one or two times a week. Great selection of beer and liquor, great menu (more options than the downtown locations). Alot of tv s for the games, great staff and the BEST prices! Nice to have a Billy Goat closer to us than downtown. Maybe not the busiest place for a game but definitely the cheapest and one of the best! 5 STARS!
