This absurdly large honky-tonk is a symbol of Texas for many people and pretty much a Western theme park. With 40 bar stations, a monster dance floor for hard-core boot-scootin', a rodeo arena, pool tables, mechanical bulls and pro bull riding, it's 7 acres of country-and-western heaven. Open more than 20 years now, Billy Bob's continues to draw the biggest names in country music.

My visit was during the daytime and not much was happening.

Went down to Dallas/Fort Worth with a buddy to see TCU and the Dallas Cowboys play for a weekend. Wanted to see what Fort Worth had to offer in terms of bars/clubs and was extremely pleasantly surprised.
