Behind a paywall, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Jenny Turknett gives two stars to VirginiaHighland's Bar Meatball. Turknett gives co-owners and cousins Joey Masi and Joe Federici credit for inventiveness: "At Bar Meatball, you are the master of design, inventing your own plate from a list of sauces, meatballs, breads and sides that provide a seemingly limitless number of potential...

Updating the Eater Heatmap: Where to Eat Right Now

More often than not, tipsters, readers, friends, and family of Eater have one question: Where should I eat right now? What are the new restaurants? What haven't I heard of? What's everyone talking about? While the Eater 38 is a crucial resource covering old standbys and neighborhood essentials across the city, it is not a chronicle of the 'it' places of the moment. The newly opened "mountain lodge" shifts into Buckhead bar mode where the drinks and atmosphere are concerned: Look for cocktails including...

I came with some friends for wing night and not only were the wings super good, the server we had was extremely nice. We stayed after for drinks at the bar and James (Everyone around me said he was the MBA) was super friendly.
