A tradition with hikers, bikers, fishermen, and scenic drivers out exploring the Gorge, especially for weekend breakfast but also at lunch and dinnertime, this colorful roadhouse in the center of town is festooned with license plates, vintage signs, and kitschy artwork. Grab a seat at the counter or in one of the high-back wooden booths, and tuck into grilled wild salmon sandwich, chicken-fried...
This is a local flavor gem. Good food and interesting old town charm. I love the salmon sandwich and the black bean chili, and the salmon is always cooked perfectly.
Had a nice soup and salmon sandwich in this basic but pleasant restaurant. Locals were gathering from distant places and met here to catch up. Interesting to overhear their conversation. Nice community feel. It may have been a bit too community, when one of the kitchen workers came out with his dirty t-shirt to the dining room to chat with...
BRG is a great local bar, giving it the authentic feel that theme pubs lack. The staff are knowledgeable and super helpful. The food presentation is excellent but both our meat entrees were over cooked. That's disappointing when the meal and 2 drinks are over $75.
I would definitely go back but tell the waiter to shoot for medium.
The food and service were great. Can't remember the name of the shrimp and pasta dish but it was very good. One of us had the prime rib and it was delicious. Other two had salmon and really enjoyed it.
My wife and I dropped in for lunch and had a great experience. The staff was quick and helpful. We each had a sandwich, mine was the Cuban special. They had no problem adding or subtracting ingredients for us so they both turned out perfect. Nice inside with interesting décor including dozens of unusual license plates. We will be back.
