I stopped in to Big Al last week while in White Center. The place feels more like a neighborhood pub stocked with regulars than a taproom, I guess because it is. It's got an aged and lived-in character, and the service is good. The beers are pretty standard; nothing very special from what I tried. There were 6 or 7 beers on tap there, and not a particularly wide variety of styles.

My wife had an appointment in the area. Found this place on my beermapper app. What a pleasant surprise! Small upcoming place with awesome beer. Especially the IPA. Although the place is really small (which I like), it had a great atmosphere. Wanted to stay longer but had a long drive home! Definitely will go back!

Only place in White Center anything like this, quite happy it is here. Cool patrons of all walks of life, great chats, good time. There will be dogs present. Only Big Al's brews to choose from but that was all that I had wanted, if you are wanting more than that, this will not be the place for you. Samplers available for modest price. Thanks Al we love your beer! The brewery interior is friendly and welcoming. I love the outdoor summer seating and BBQ's! The live concerts and private room for use upstairs all add to the perfectly wonderful brewery you have!!

Big Al's has a large upstairs lounge that is free to reserve. The idea is that you reserve the lounge and then spend a few hours playing darts, Wii, Atari, or other various board or card games with a large group of friends while drinking Big Al's finest.
