Betty’s cozy, earth-toned interior has a lively kitchen counter along one side and a bar tucked into a lounge in back. The seasonally-inspired menu is supported by well-crafted cocktails and a choice selection of wines priced below $30. Begin with a tower of heirloom tomatoes blanketed with shaved Parmesan and onion slivers. Green tomatoes are fried and paired with sweet-tart tomato jam. We...
Betty is the kind of place that's everything to everyone. There are stained glass windows by the bar, and landscape paintings by the dining area. The prices are a bit steep but this is Queen Anne so they can get away with it. For dinner, think grilled octopus with tomato vinaigrette, pan roasted chicken and lasagne with Italian sausage. I love Betty's. It's a great neighborhood restaurant with great food and service. And the cook's table is really cool experience.

Was disappointed with the menu and what the online menu said. We went wanting particular dishes that were no longer on the menu. They had also run out of baguette by 7pm which seems a little odd and was needed for the meat plate starter
Love the quarterly menu changes. Food not extraordinarily extravagant, pretty simple and well-presented. Decent wine list. Server, Julia, always attentive. Betty is always in our top ten!

This restaurant and lounge is big which means diners can choose the raucous lounge at the back, a booth at the front or a lively counterside seat and watch the chefs. Signature dishes are steak frites and pan roasted chicken.
