Good second choice if price is a consideration

Driving cross country and Armadillo was mostly full or the prices were jacked up. This hotel was a welcome quick stop. The staff was kind and They were in changing the linens before we drove away. Two problems. Bathroom very small and air conditioning loud. You get what you pay for.

Perfect Route 66 location

Clean, comfortable and welcoming. Quiet so got. Good nights sleep. Mexican restaurant next door is excellent, quality food and helpful staff. Look at for Billy, a retired rancher and a perfect gentleman. Have bottle Bud in Boot Hill Saloon. Ladies loos are unbelievable.

We paid between $80 and $90 bucks to stay here, total cost with all taxes and the AAA discount. The place is bare bones, no frills. For what one gets, I feel like the price is out of line. One...
