Berry's Garage lost the top engine cover during repair and will not replace it or compensate me for loss.I had a timing belt and water pump replaced at Berry's garage. I picked it up on May 25, 2010. Warning - Garage won't replace the part they lost

Berry's Garage lost the top engine cover during repair and will not replace it or compensate me for its loss.

I had a timing belt and water pump replaced at Berry's garage.

When I next checked the oil after I had picked the car up, I noticed that the top engine cover, a part measuring over one-foot square that sits on top of the engine, was missing. I notified the garage that it was missing. They looked in the shop for it and did not find it. They said that they would to to locate a replacement for me.
