It's always a struggle to find something decent to eat when we're driving from Seattle to Portland and we found this place from online reviews. I had the crab melt which would have been really good if it had green onions or something to offset the blandness. The bread was toasted perfectly though. Good homemade foods. Homemade bread for sandwiches. Lots of choices, Great chicken fried steak and omelets. Good salads and desserts.

Berry Fields is a great spot for breakfast or lunch. Wonderful 'comfort' food, from very hearty sandwiches to nice salads and soups. You won't go away hungry. While erring on the side of overly cute, this little cafe offers a solid menu and on our two visits, very personable and professional service by an enthusiastic crew. Their is a wide enough selection to please most, just don't expect anything too innovative. And be sure to leave room for desert. The pie is their PIEce d' resistance. Lot...

So disappointed

Went based on reviews. Omelet was overcooked while onions were under sauteed so they overpowered every other flavor. The biscuit was warm and fluffy but served with flavorless jam that could have been from the grocery store.
The desserts looked good. I'd go for that and skip breakfast.
