Very interesting tour of Berea College. The students give the tour and it is free. Everyone was so friendly and eager to entertain and provide information. Went to Berea College from 2000-2004. It's a beautiful college, and one that requires getting around via foot or bicycle. If you're on TripAdvisor looking at colleges, know that it's fairly easy to reach via car, although you may not have the ability to keep a car on-campus!
Traveled here for a conference and loved the campus. Facilities were nice and campus well maintained. Only beef was parking was spotty but that isn't unusual when you are a visit on a college campus!
I did the campus tour several years ago and it's well worth while. This is a college where nobody pays tuition, but everyone works at some sort of job on campus or in the hotel.
Took a short tour which included the woodworking and broom making areas at the college. Our student tour guide was very good.
