Needs better ventilation the smoke is bad on someone with health conditions but great place i enjoyed myself

The experience was great. I had a very nice time. However, our waitress seemed pretty preoccupied as I never received my tea I requested. Other than that it was great. The cook was amazing. Great Job!

All the food was over cooked even the veggies. Scallops lobster shrimp and steal ALL over cooked. Rubbery. There was not much showmanship. The cook did not really even speak with us.

We enjoyed out meal, the people at our table, and our chef. We didnt enjoy the extremely loud party we were next to. Which isnt Benihanas fault. All in all it wad great!

Japanese-born Rocky H. Aoki founded Benihana in 1964, with the opening of it first restaurant in Manhattan's Upper West Side at 61 West 56th St. This restaurant soon became famous with its theatrical chefs and traditional Japanese architecture and structural engineering. The interior structure of the restaurant was a 150-year old Japanese born Rocky's father found in the countryside of Japan.
