Beer & Buns Restaurant Review

Beer & Buns has a name that might suggest it’s in a less cosmopolitan setting. It’s not. Housed in the St. Giles Hotel - The Court, the restaurant and its name do not lie: beer (many of which are first-rate choices, such as Xingu from Brazil and Spain’s Estrella Galicia) and buns are the main events. Known for its $250 "Indulgence" burger topped with shaved white truffles, foie gras and caviar, this Murray Hill spot in The Court Hotel also pairs much more affordable Asian-inspired patties, salads and so forth with craft brews. Touches like the new-wave chandeliers throughout the room give the eatery an upscale loungey vibe.
