I don't recommend the green tea or the chocolate cream puff. What to get: original cream puff dipped in chocolate. I love the vanilla cream filling because it reminds me of creme brûlée.

Consistency and branding is the same as Vancouver. I had the green tea flavor one and the other was vanilla custard. Being a warm day the custard liquefied and got all over my hands.

The first time I ever had Beard Papa cream puffs were back in the day like 10 years ago when my friend brought them over from New York City. Even though they were smashed in her carry-on luggage from the flight from NYC to L.A., the cream puffs still tasted heavenly.

As their sign said, they do make the best cream puffs. When I used to go to San Jose area more often, Milpitas location was my must stop by. Now this location inside the Marukai is my must stop...
