If you venture out to Quincy and are looking for some entertainment, the Beachcomber is the hot spot. Located on the ocean with outdoor patio seating, this popular club books many of Boston's favorite bands. DJs also spin their magic here some nights. On Wednesday the karaoke machine is cranked up and that seems to be a fun night. There is a cover charge of $5 on Friday and Saturday nights....

I worked there for a few years. I loved it and the Family. Jimmy Senior was a real class act and a pleasure to work for. Had some of the best laughs of my 20s there. So sad it's closed down.
