ref, cd,s sent to the state

we have several cd,s purchased for our gr. childern to be cashed in when they graduate or turn 18. we have always notified the bank that they are active. we just learned they have sent atleast one of them to the state because of in-activity. this will cost us $ to retrive the money, the bank says they cannot help with, there fore we will remove all accountsfrom this bank
