Deposit 500 called for bal. Rep state 400.00 left in acct. Rep stated previous bal. insuf funds 1.20 , charged me 35.00 plus 8.00 a day. I was furious never ws told 8.00 a day extra, rep never told me when I first signed up.rep over the phone stated I should have read the contract. should have apologized and credit back to me. What a rip off, canceling this acct, if I cancel acct this early they will charge me 25.00 for closing it. This bank gets a big fat 0 rating

Everyone who has this problem with over drafts please go to the B B B ( w w w .b b b. o r g) and report your problem. They have an A+ which is definitely false. If you had this problem you know where I'm coming from. Please take the time 5 min to file a complaint. I am looking to investigate a class action law suit to get my money back.

Bankatlantic manipulates your transactions. I am very careful to check my account on-line to see if checks have been paid and transactions I make using the debit card. I make certain no to go over the amount of money I know I have in the bank. I do usually use up most of the balance in the account. That is what they like. You make a deposit and they will show it as available after 24 or so hours. Then, BAM! They post you with overdraft fees for transactions that happened a day or two before the deposit.

Very rude! Theives, Overdraft Fee is Crazy. They do not protect you from merchants and can not dispute charge

I used my card to buy a product for $300.00. I had $600.00 in my account. The merchant ran the charge through twice by mistake which gave me two pending charges of $300.00 each. With all of my other purchases and the mistake it put my available funds to negative. When the charges finally posted to my account the merchant corrected their end yet Bank Atlantic decided to charge me a bunch of overdraft fees. I was punished for using their card.
