Help us make it rightThe BBQ Shack opened in June 2004 under ownership of Steve and Janelle Carpenter in a trailer just down from its current location, off of first street. Offering only outside seating and a drive thru. In September renovation started on an old concrete building that once long ago used to be a Dairy Queen which now is our current location.

We bought 10 Lbs of pulled pork for a party, the meat was dry and flavorless. There was no seasoning whatsoever. I assumed that since it's called BBQ Shack, the meat would have been smoked. We were very disappointed and will not be returning.
My family and I were visiting Historic Snohomish when we came across this little place, my kids were excited to eat here, they found it cute...
I have to dis-agree with these other reviews. My wife and I ate there recently. The meat was really tough and barely had any BBQ sauce on it. I know they were just sides but the Mashed potatoes were hard and the corn was a weird color and looked like the corn you used to get with your school lunch. Make the drive to Marysville and go to Sticky Fingers instead.
The BBQ Shack catered my wedding rehearsal dinner. They were so professional and responsive. The food was awesome and my guest got to relax and enjoy the food for hours. It was so much better than going to a restaurant. The Management (Janelle) made it so smooth.
I love the BBQ Shack and would recommend it to everyone.
I used the BBQ for my wedding rehearsal dinner. They caterred the food to my wife's relatives house. It turned out awesome. The food was fantastic (gotta try their chicken and pulle pork), and their service was fantastic! \r

The owner, Janelle, did a great job communicating and made my rehearsal dinner awesome. I have also gone into the restaurant multiple times and you have to try...
