Help us make it rightIt took us almost 9 months to get in to see a doctor! Then we saw a nutritionist and the doctor on the same visit, which I appreciated, having driven an hour to get there. But the doctor asked us to come back in three weeks, and we couldn't get an appointment for 3 MONTHS. Then our appointment was cancelled, and they put us off another week. I can't say if the program might be helpful, but if we can't get in to see the doctor as needed, I can't imagine how it could have worked. We have decided to take my child to weight watchers instead. Weekly meetings, lots of support, a proven program, and no more struggling to deal with an obviously overloaded program. If the doctor(s) aren't aware of the scheduling problems, they have their heads in the sand...I just wish I hadn't waited so long for that first appointment and had just taken my daughter elsewhere to begin with! Time wasted she cannot afford. I just hope she doesn't have an undiagnosed medical problem because the blood test results would have been reassuring. But I can't deal with this office anymore.
