Don't have any custom work done by the owner at his home shop!

The owner will tell you to drop off your car & then when you go to pick it up he'll have a story of why he never got a chance, then he'll reschedule & do part of the work. He says he has years of experience & can build anything. He did some good work but fell way short on most. He installed a vent/fan in my van roof & it has sprung leaks twice. He installed an inverter where it can't be used unless you contort your body. He said that the electric system he installed could power a ceramic heater that would work all night. it only lasts 20 minutes. He says he'll fix these things in 10 days- What if it rains again & creates more leak/damage . What if I wait those 10 days & I bring it there & like the last few times, oh something came up!
