I was expecting a lot more of this restaurant in Excelsior. The location is beautiful, right on the shore of beautiful Lake Minnetonka and the people watching is outstanding, from the people coming in off the lake to the people strolling in for happy hour. The drinks we had were pretty weak and I swear my margarita had salt thrown...

After reading several reviews I am surprised that this restaurant/bar is not more highly rated. We were there during happy hour and enjoyed both food and drinks plus sitting outside. Had quesadillas as an appetizer and an excellent salad as my main course. Very crowded but good service,seems to cater to a more mature crowd than Maynard's next door.
