I have to say I laughed when we pulled up to this location. We were in town to pick up a bottle of wine for a Christmas gift when it occurred to me that maybe one of the small bakeries might have a fruit cake, my mother in law likes them and I hadn't gotten one yet.

Spent the weekend in Muenster attending Germanfest! Lovely little town. Stopped in a Bayer's for breakfast, walked out with 3 bags of DELICIOUSNESS! All pastries are divine! Do not miss the Peaches & Cream Strudel!!!!

Wanted to try the strudel, but it was simply too large for us to take home ($11.99 for the whole strudel). So we settled for a blueberry pastry. My wife tried it first, and when I asked her how it was she simply replied "unbelievable." Went back in and purchased a strawberry twist pastry that we enjoyed the next day,...

Great German food and large portions. Standard American fare as well

Really like the home cooked food, rolls, and German selections. Deserts are good too but you may have to take them home -- you'll be too full.
