Delicious cheeseburgers for diner prices. Fried wontons with the sweet and sour dipping sauce are a must! Very good food.

Have eaten in Baumgart's in Englewood and the now closed Baumgart's in Nyack, but this was our first visit to Ridgewood. The food was up to par, but the service was not. Our waiter was unfriendly, disinterested in our experience and did not get our orders right. Three of our dishes came out and it wasn't for another 20 minutes...

Great food, fairly priced and always friendly service.
I really like everything on their menu AND the pistachio ice cream is among the best around as I judge ice cream by the Van Dyke's standard. Try all the ice cream desserts, Great place for dessert after dinner or on a warm evening.

Went to Baumgarts tonight for dinner. Food wasnt brought out together. We had 6 people, and it was about an 8 minute gap from the 1st person being serves to last. Had to ask numerous time for water refills despite server seeing our empty cups. Food was good, but some was cold by the time we for everything. Ordered ice...

I normally don't complain about restaurants or service and am a good tipper. Very forgiving. But I cannot be in this case. The food arrived quickly, but the waiter never return to check on us. The two shrimp dishes were horrible. One was to sweet the other bland and the shrimp tasted like rubber.
