The restaurant at the Basque Cultural Center is a hidden gem that offers rather authentic AND delicious cuisine that are found in Basque households....at very good value given the quality and price points. I was introduced to this cultural center by someone with Basque heritage so this place IS the real deal.

In addition to the restaurant, there are informative displays and cultural artifacts...

This is not Basque cuisine, and I have been to both Spanish and French Basque countries and Basque Navarre.It is a lot of electric and mostly mismatched food, though mostly edible.

Celebrated my mother's birthday here last nite and everyone came away satisfied with a delicious meal. Mom ordered her favorite dish, the rack of lamb and everyone else had the Tuesday family...

Had a wonderful time again at a family event. The service and food are excel lab as is the friendly folks at the bar. Will come again.

Basque Cultural Center Inc is located at 599 Railroad Ave in South San Francisco and has been in the business of Social Club, Membership since 1982.

The Basque Cultural Center is administered by the board of directors elected by the membership. The center furnishes social and recreational activities for the members of the club with an emphasis on Basque culture. The Center has opened a restaurant in order to fund such activities. Directors from 599 Railroad organization are appointed to run and manage the restaurant business.

The Basque Cultural serves up speciality dishes from the small region north of Spain. It also features a full-service bar. If you have a large party, the Basque Cultural Center has a large banquet hall for groups of any size.

Stop in Basque Cultural Ctr for a place that offers guests French food where patrons tend to favor steaks. Expect the average entrée to cost $12 to $20, and go dressed casual.
