Set in "charming" Millburn, this "dependable", "high-quality" BYO offers an "imaginative", "old-world" Italian menu served by a "pleasant" crew; it's an "excellent" pre-theater choice for those with tickets to the nearby Paper Mill Playhouse, and the outdoor dining here is especially "lovely."

We enjoyed our dinner last night at Basilico, food was amazing and the service was superb. The fillet mignon was incredibly tender and cooked to perfection, one of our friends tried the squid ink pasta and that was also quite delicious. Basilico is one of our favorite restaurants and we highly recommend it, if you are looking for a nice restaurant with great food at a reasonable price.

We decided to try Basilico during Millburn's Restaurant Week since they offered a nice menu. We were very impressed with the delicious food, excellent service, and lovely ambiance.

Our food was delicious! Gnocchi with truffle sauce was the best I’ve had! ( But $60 for an appetizer was expensive!) should have been a lot less. Over all the food was perfect an delicious ?

We were disappointed. We have been going to Basilico for about 15 years and always enjoyed it. The lettuce in the salad was old. The tomato sauce was too vinegar ish. And the prices have gone out the roof. $42.00 for a piece of fish? Not cool. Sad.
