Great food and excellent service ~ this was a special occasion dinner and it was carried through splendidly.
Valentine's night, main courses took forever. Chicken not hot, fish casserole excellent.
The waitstaff was confused. Poured out sparkling water at another table. Repetitive service and questions.
Sadly, there was a combination of pretension and poor service. We were never quite clear who was responsible for waiting on our table -- different people coming and going and slow delivery of a menu, the opportunity to order, drinks and bread on the table. We waited forever to see dessert menus and then for our bill. The Amish chicken was good, but the overall experience poor due to weak service.
We were celebrating a friend's birthday and had looked forward to a dining experience that would equal the know high cost of dining at this restaurant. We could not have been more disappointed.
