Food is excellent! The lobster couscous is amazing! Also, cannot go wrong with the filet mignon!! Also, the hostess Cait is great! The restaurant has a very nice fire place outside to enjoy which is good in the summer or winter time! This is a great place to enjoy a fabulous meal!

We were originally scheduled to be at the Dorset Inn (sister property across the way) but were bumped here and it was AWESOME! Dog friendly (only some of the rooms) with a private entrance the carriage house rooms were spacious. This is a lovely romantic Inn with lots of different room options in the heart of Vermont.

We had a Living Social coupon for 2 nights - April 13 and 14. Check-in was very quick and efficient. She showed us up to our room - Finch's Folly, 2nd floor, overlooking the street. The room was so nice! King sized bed with a gas fireplace right in front of it, and the fireplace also faces the sitting area...

Barrows House Inn was really wonderful. The staff was great and our room was spacious and comfortable. We had our dog with us and they left a special treat for her in the room. Our stay included breakfast at the Dorset Inn, just a short walk down the road. The breakfast was fantastic (although the waitstaff was less than friendly)....
