Stopped in to kill some time before the crazy legs race and had a chocolate chip scone. It was amazing. Cute place with good atmosphere. Staff was very friendly. Would like to come back and try a coffee sometime.

Barriques is a classic coffee shop and wine specialty shop. I went in the morning and had a terrific breakfast sandwich with fresh egg, cheddar and added bacon. great coffee, food and service

Even though it is part of a strip mall this is a wonderful place for coffee, a bite and conversation.
Easy atmosphere with tables and couches and a fire place. Staff was helpful and friendly. Went back twice in 2 days while visiting Madison.

I have been to all of the Barrique's locations, except the one on Park Street. I really love going to these cafes! They specialize in coffee and wine--you can taste either while there, or purchase coffee beans, wine/liquor to take home for later. We always look forward to Barriques when we are in Madison--great coffee, great ambiance. We also love the outdoor seating. Its just a quiet, calm,lovey place to read and have delicious coffee.
