If you're looking for a dumpy taqueira with a picture menu behind the register, you're at the wrong place. This taco-focused joint is trendy and modern, and the kitchen uses handmade corn tortillas to wrap up beer-battered fish, beef tongue, baked chicken and more. Aside from tacos, Barrio has the carne asadas, fajitas and other entrees you'd come to expect at a taqueria, plus margaritas...
I had dinner and brunch at Barrio's many times. Drinks are phenomenal, I cannot get enough of their hibiscus Martini, their tacos are my favorite in the city. They are not your regular taco stand style, they have a contemporary twist to them. The battered fish, shrimp and short rib tacos are my favorite. The atmosphere and staff are great as well
Everything was fine. Usual high level of service and professionalism. Keep up the good work!
The service was poor. The food is mediocre. Oh and did I mention how unfriendly the staff is. I will never go back here, and I would not suggest that anyone else goes to this place.
Good food but better drinks! Food is full wonderful flavors but some combinations of tacos are a little too sweet. Try the fondue appetizer...DELICIOUS!
