Awful contractor

Barco Roofing and Construction is a horrendous contractor. I would not recommend them to anyone.

I hired Barco to install a new roof and complete some interior remodeling in early 2010. I had nothing but an awful experience with them. They were very courteous and helpful up front, prior to getting my business, but as soon as I started to pay them for the work, it quickly went down hill. They were incredibly unprofessional (to the point at yelling at me over the phone for calling to discuss issues with workmanship) and the supervisors did not oversee the project at all. The workmanship was awful. The subcontractors they used for interior work were awful. I had problems with my granite installation that never got resolved, problems with my tile installation that I had to fix myself, lots of sloppy smaller scale workmanship I had to correct myself, and I NEVER received my 30 yr roof warrantee that I paid for. I am writing to the Better Business Bureau in hopes to make others aware so they do not have the same horrible experience I had to endure. I highly suggest NOT using Barco. I got lured in by a fair price, but as I learned, you get what you pay for. Awful, awful experience.

Mr.Pfeffer's roof was completed and passed inspection with the City of Jacksonville on the first inspection, then the project took a turn downhill. To save money, Mr.Pfeffer wanted my company to filter his mortgage money back to him while he oversaw the interior project. When the project started to have issues, he expected my company to be responsible for his lack of construction knowledge. At Barco Roofing & Construction, we have completed thousands of projects on time and within budget. From million dollar homes, to government projects to re-roofs, we take pride in our company and our workmanship. We can't be held responsible when a homeowner takes the role of project manager and falls miserably short. We will continue to strive to exceed our customer's expectations.

After they get your money they do not want to work with you.

Had a great experience with this company ( 877-601-5395 ) . They were all friendly and willing to answer any of my 20 questions!! My family used this company 25 yrs ago & I was interested to see if they were still around. THEY WERE! I signed a contract with them the day I got the estimate. The work is now completed & I will reccomend my kids to call them in 25 yrs!I heard that they have raffle...
