This place is great! I stumbled across this place while I was hungry looking at the Underground. I noticed this long line and people yelling. The yelling was coming from the the employees there and the restaurant next to them. I had the lemon pepper wing, mac n cheese, and Peach Hi-C. I returned there my next trip and the restaurant next to them was gone but the line at BBQWorks was longer than the first time. This has become a traditions on my Atalanta vacations. A Most Have Meal!

While at ATL underground I ate at this resturant, I really enjoyed the bourbon chicken.

If there's a long line of people waiting to order from this place, then it's gotta be a good place, right? The best barbecue chicken I've EVER had. Well...

Barbeque works has, in my opinion, the greatest tasting food of all of the Underground restaurants. For it to be ""fast food"" it really tastes like it just came out of my mom's kitchen. The best part is that the prices are crazy low. I would actually be willing to pay more if they increased the prices. The food is just that gooooddd. But if you want to try it out, go before 11:30AM or after 1:30PM. The line at this place is crazy during lunchtime.

So when I was putzing around the underground I had to make a decision of where to eat. I wanted soul food, but where to go. There was the chicken something rather to the right, and barbecue works to the left. I started to walk up to the counter of the chicken place because I saw wings on the menu and that's what I wanted. Then as I looked to the left there was this enormous snaking line of people at Barbecue Works, many of whom did not look like tourists. So I waited in line and was rewarded with some of the best chicken wings I have ever tasted. They also had really tasty pulled...

Barbeque Works is located in the food court of Underground Atlanta. If you cannot decide between the pulled pork, smoked chicken or sliced beef platter meals, try a combo platter and just get the works. Barbeque Works makes it worth the wait.
