A beautiful facility that tries to preserve and protect the local community is the The Bar Harbor Historical Society. Established it 1945, it has grown exceptionally over these years. Exhibits include all ancient things that have been used by the community. A visit to this museum will surely enrich your knowledge about the local history of the place.
