I love Thai food. It is difficult to find really good authentic Thai food. But, Bangkok Oriental is the real deal.
The location is obscure and if you didn't know it was there you probably would not find it. It is hidden in an old strip shopping center located behind Dunkin Donuts and Bob Evans on Ritchie Highway in Pasadena....

Awesome vegetable fried rice

So a happy the reviews were accurate! Some of the best fried rice I've ever had :) good customer service, great food, large portion with enough left over for lunch tomorrow. I recommend & I'll definitely come back when in the area :)

Um...well...I really don't know what to feel right now. I ordered takeout from here...drunken noodles with chicken. The server who took my order informed me that they don't use the wide noodles...

I've eaten Thai all over the place here in the U.S. - still hoping to eat it in Thailand one day. This unassuming spot has the consistently best food anywhere. Perfectly steamed vegetables, great Pad  Thai, all the roasted chili paste variations are superb, basil beef is wonderful, satay is yummy,  sublime panaang  curry , etc etc. Get a Singha beer and enjoy.
