i love pho! so when I am missing pho I get it here! you can get chicken pho as well. i think it is the only vietnamese restraunt in springfield as of right now... (may 29th 2010)

Bamboo Inn is the greatest! And yes, it is true, SO was here! Chery and I were students at Missouri State from 1973 (the year Bamboo Inn opened) until 1977. In our visit this week, we sat and talked with Mr. Lo who opened the BI and invented the famous Springfield-style Cashew Chicken that so many others have tried to copy. He is now 82 and retired, but hangs out in Springfield 6 months a...

Springfield is famous for the Cashew Chicken, well, if that's what you are hungry for, get it to go quick and easy from Bamboo Inn. They've been in business for MANY years. Also have small area to dine in.

Sadly I have found out this wonderful establishment has closed its doors after 35 years.
The had the best food in springfield! No other chinese place in town do what they could do!
Not only did they have the best food, but also the best and friendliest service in town.
I ate there at least once or twice a week and had the pleasure to try almost everything on the menu.
No one does Sweet...
