These roadside restaurants, now numbering in the hundreds, have been winning over the West since 1983. More polished than the average greasy spoon with homey wood accents and...
Old fashion food? Right here - at Baker's Square! Home-made soup and rich- sinfully rich pies - free on Wed. We got lucky. Delicious!
I went here on a Sunday with some friends. We got there and there were plenty of open tables but were told a 20 minute wait. Apparently the cook was backed up, they did not have enough staff. I got tired of waiting after 40 min and left, but some of my friends stayed. After about 50 minutes they finally got in, they said their coffee and biscuits were cold, biscuit was hard, pancakes were mediocre. The hashbrowns were the only ok thing served. I will definitely never go there again, nor will my friends.
no dislieks and i liek everythignt here especially the pies
clean and spacious
Amazing pie, although the waitresses don't know too much about
the Minneapolis area. One of them didn't know how to get to the
U of M, which is like 4 blocks away.
Whole pies are available for purchase and, if you join the Frequent Pie-ers Club, the seventh pie you buy is free.
The already wallet-friendly menu is even more so between 3pm and 6pm daily, when an early dinner special means a soup or salad, an entree and slice of pie are less than $10.
A menu just for kids includes fun finger foods like grilled cheese, corn dog nuggets and chicken strips.
