Ate here because I started working across the street. Wasn't my favorite place. I am a BBQ connoisseur, so this didn't tickle my fancy but this is merely my opinion my other co workers enjoyed...

Solid BBQ joint. Been at the same location for decades. Great specials, great people. A true Fort Worth establishment.

The sauce is good, not great. And, the meat is tender, but dry. Not recommend for Bariatric patients because of how dry the meat is. Nonetheless, it's a solid choice if you're in the area.

This is truly Texas-style BBQ! Nothing fancy, just plain 'ole Texas-style; tub of pickles and all. Like $6 for a BBQ sandwich, chips, and a drink. Note; this place is within reasonable walking distance to where the AMTRAK Texas Eagle stops in Fort Worth. On it's south-bound one-hour layover, you can easily walk there, have lunch, and return.
