Not impressed with a lot of it. We apparently got there on the last day they were open for the summer. We had no idea until we waited, drank at the bar and got seated that they were out of a lot of product because it was being closed the next day. I run restaurants in NYC and would love to just get in there for a good consult because the place could potentially be great, just needs basic help...

We have a summer home at the shore, so we are very familiar with the restaurants in the area and Baia is quite possibly one of the worst. The food is mediocre at best and the service is astonishingly awful. I decided, (foolishly), to give it one more shot while I was entertaining some guests for the weekend and it was even worse than before. It really is a darn shame because the setting is...

It was the night before they closed for the season so they were out of many things. Food came out very slowly and needed to be sent back. Waitress was sweet.

The server was awful. We felt unwanted. Bread and drinks were thrown on the table in passing. We had food long before we had silverware. 1 dinner was wrong and the rest of us were almost finished by the time the corrected order came. I will not go again!!

This might have been THE MOST unprofessional worst serving staff we have EVER encountered...if we were told one more time "season is over" or heard employees outright dropping the "f" bomb literally standing next to our table or watched and heard employees racing down to a shack where they all were gathering to drink? Party? Who knows...

Another jewel by the sea, Baia specializes in Italian cuisine. It offers a range of dishes like the Spinach Ravioli, Grilled Breast of Chicken, Potato Gnocchi, Lump Crab Baked Maine Lobster Tail and Crispy Breaded Veal. Along with the interesting concoctions, the restaurant comes up with some fun entertainment options that make it a popular destination for the youth. The cool breeze, warm sun...
